The Center for Energy and Environment Research (CREA) is a public-private consortium established in 2003, in which the University of Siena, the Municipality of Colle di Val d’Elsa, and numerous Valdelsa and Italian companies participate.
CREA is organized with a Board of Directors that handles managerial activities and a Technical Scientific Committee in charge of its scientific direction.
CREA’s activities and goals are:
- promoting research in our territory
- promoting education and the exchange of knowledge
- providing companies with cutting-edge technology for conducting analyses, studies, and evaluations
- providing highly qualified consultancy services to companies
