The mission of CREA is outlined in the following principles:
- To promote, encourage, and develop the scientific, technological, economic, and cultural progress of the social and productive system.
- To promote, encourage, and develop activities in scientific and technological research, including applied research, product and service innovation, scientific and technical training, technology transfer, dissemination, exchange of knowledge, and scientific and technological education and outreach.
- To promote, encourage, develop, enhance, and support the activities of the members, also with a view to economic, cultural, and social growth.
- To enhance the scientific and technological resources present in the territory.
- To promote and develop conditions for the attraction, creation, and strengthening of highly innovative enterprises and productive activities.
All these activities are carried out within the territory of the Municipality of Colle di Val d’Elsa and, in general, the broader area of Valdelsa, the Province of Siena, and the Region of Tuscany.
